  3. v. A24 segregated Cycle Path from Worthing town centre to Washington and beyond : and our initial contact with the parish councils for Storrington & Sullington and Washington : Stuart Elms mins

  1. 30 mins feedback from the two recent meetings with the Leader of Worthing BC – Dan Humphreys - and his officers to consider the introduction of an Adur & Worthing Cycling & Walking Action Group, along the lines of that in Crawley where the Crawley Cycle Forum is now a council backed initiative to take responsibility for cycling

6) the safe use of roads, cycle ways, and pavements :-

i. WCF position on anti-social cycling and the safe use of roads, cycle ways and pavements : JP Saville leading an open discussion with view to agreeing a WCF policy by the close of the meeting.

ii. should A&W be encourage to have a position on this ? 10 mins

7) 5 mins WCF officer and volunteer vacancies : given the new momentum, we now need volunteers to step forward to share the workload with JP Saville, John Coote and Stuart Elms :-

i. to offer to take the minutes

ii. support JP, John Coote & Stuart with tasks arising from the work of the Adur & Worthing Cycling & Walking Action Group

iii.. work with Anthony Cartmel to keep the WCF website up to date and relevant 5 mins

iv. monitor the weekly A&W planning applications for anything that might be of interest to WCF
